Our policy is to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. If our privacy policies change, we will notify all users by a limited special announcement placed on the website. Doctrepreneurs® encourages you to periodically review this statement to be informed of how Doctrepreneurs® is protecting your information.

What Information Does Doctrepreneurs® Collect?

General Users

When you visit our website Doctrepreneurs® does not collect any personal identifying information from users browsing its Web site. When you visit our websites from a link on another website and move from page to page, read pages, search for content or download content onto your computer, we learn which pages are visited, what content is downloaded, and the address of websites that you visited immediately before coming to our website.  As a general User Only aggregate data — such as the number of hits per page — are collected. Course Registrant and Members

When you register as a Doctrepreneur® member or user we compile a profile of you for that service (e.g. name, country, occupation, username, password, etc.). Each time you use our website, we use your profile to collect information about the transactions that you complete and the informational pages of the website that you visit while using the service. In certain instances, we may collect your internet address (IP) of the computer you are using) to identify you as a unique user.

 

Why we collect information at Doctrepreneurs®  

We collect information at the Doctrepreneurs® for the following purposes, or consistent with the following

  • to register you as a member or course registrant for the gated portions of our website;
  • to create internal reports to understand individual and aggregate web usage and activity levels;

  • to confirm that you have successfully registered;
  • to provide you with information such as updates and alerts about Doctrepreneurs® features, content on the website, course forums etc.;

We collect the following information from users of Doctrepreneurs®:

Doctrepreneurs’s Members and Course Registrants

We also use both your transaction information and the informational pages of the website that you have visited to help us determine areas of interest so that we can offer other services and services to you.  In order to determine what Doctrepreneurs® services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Doctrepreneurs® to users whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

 

Members, registrants and visitors who have opted in to our marketing emails can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our marketing messages.  Also, all opt-out requests can be made by emailing us using the contact details provided. Please note that some communications (such as service messages, account notifications, billing information) are considered transactional and necessary for account management, and Members cannot opt out of these messages unless you cancel their account.

 

Security of your Personal Information

Doctrepreneurs® secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Doctrepreneurs® secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.  If you object to providing some personal information, we may not be able to give you access to certain portions of the website because these are reserved for members only. These require your registering to be a member.   In all cases: –

  • We do not sell or trade the personal information collected at doctrepreneurs.com.
  • Doctrepreneurs® does not accept third-party advertising on our website.
  • Doctrepreneurs® does not makes member contact information available through Doctrepreneurs® membership directory or to other members using its website.
  • Doctrepreneurs® does not disclose credit card account information provided by its members and customers. When members and users choose to pay using their credit cards, Doctrepreneurs submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse.

Disclosing information  

In all cases, we will seek your permission before we disclose personal information.

  • We share personal information about you with third parties to provide you with the services or services you have purchased (for example, for credit card processing).

  • Blog. We have public blogs on the Doctrepreneurs® site. Any information you include in a comment on our blog may be read, collected, and used by anyone. If your Personal Information appears on our blogs and you want it removed, contact us info@doctrepreneurs.com. If we are unable to remove your information, we will tell you why.
  • Social media platforms and widgets. The Doctrepreneurs® include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Doctrepreneurs® Site, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Doctrepreneurs® Site. We also maintain presences on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Participation in our Promotions is completely voluntary. Information requested for entry may include Personal Information such as your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, username, and similar details. We use the information you provide to administer our Promotions. We may also, unless prohibited by the Promotion’s rules or law, use the information provided to communicate with you, or other people you select, about our Service. Email Security  

Phishing is the fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.

  • No one from the doctrepreneurs will ever email to ask you for passwords, account numbers or personal information.
  • Do not provide confidential personal or financial information to anyone in an email.
  • Never include your account number or password in emails.
  • Do not set your email program to “auto-run” attachments. Always check that emails you have received do not contain viruses by running your anti-virus software when an email attachment is received.

How Does Doctrepreneurs Use Cookies?
